Starting from the 2019 academic year, the College implemented a college-wide curriculum integration plan, unifying the titles of required courses for all master's and doctoral programs and establishing college-required and college-group elective courses.

For the College's master's programs, the required course is “Research Methods,” and the group elective courses are "International Relations Theory" and "Political Economy." Students in the Department of Diplomacy and the International Master Program in International Studies(IMPIS) are required to take at least "International Relations Theory" as a group elective, while students in the Graduate Institute of East Asian Studies, the Graduate Institute of Russian Studies, and the Japanese Studies Program may choose one of the two group elective courses.

For the College's doctoral programs, the required courses are "Research Methods," "International Relations Theory," and “Political Economy.

The College encourages students to take required courses across departments or degree programs within the College, with such courses simultaneously recognized as required or group elective credits by their respective departments or programs. If a student’s home department or program has specific regulations regarding the language of instruction, course selection shall follow those regulations.
