The Department of Diplomacy at National Chengchi University (NCCU) invites applications for the faculty position of International Relations to begin in February or August 2022. The department is recruiting a new faculty member with a Ph.D. degree in International Political Economy, International Development, and International Law. Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs is pleased to announce a call for abstracts for our sixth annual Student Research Conference. It will be held at Carnegie Council's New York City headquarters on Friday, May 8, 2020. Student Research Conference, 2017. CREDIT: Amanda Ghanooni. Presentation slots are limited. We ask that all interested candidates submit an abstract of no more than 500 words to Richard Anar at email@example.com with the subject line Carnegie Conference 2020 by Monday, March 23. Please include your full name, university, and major/graduate program. Recent graduates are also welcome to submit. Selected presenters will be notified by Friday, April 3. Students should plan a 10-15 minute presentation for an audience of professors, professionals, and peers. Presentations must be based on original research conducted by the presenter and should make a normative argument about an issue in international affairs or relating to global governance. For example, topics may involve human rights, media and technology, international law, transitional justice, peacebuilding, democracy, sustainability, or transparency. Past conference winners can be found on our Student Ambassador page. The top presentation, as decided by a panel of experts, will receive the opportunity to be published on the Ethics & International Affairs blog. The judging panel will be chaired by Adam Read-Brown, editor of the Ethics & International Affairs peer-reviewed journal.

The integration of required courses in the College of International Affairs takes effect in 2019/20 Academic Year. It includes uniform in the names of required courses offered by its subsidiaries and regulations for college’s required and required-elective courses. 1. CIA required course for MA students is Research Methods; CIA required elective courses are International Relations Theory(IR) and Political Economy(PE). Students from DIP and IMPIS must take IR, but students in EAS, RS and JS can choose either IR or PE. 2. CIA required courses for doctoral students are Research Methods, International Relations Theory and Political Economy. 3. The above required course can be recognized the required credits of departments, institutes and programs under CIA. The language of instruction for required course is subject to the requirements of students' enrolled department, institutes and programs.
