Presentation slots are limited. We ask that all interested candidates submit an abstract of no more than 500 words to Richard Anar at programs@cceia.org with the subject line Carnegie Conference 2020 by Monday, March 23. Please include your full name, university, and major/graduate program. Recent graduates are also welcome to submit. Selected presenters will be notified by Friday, April 3

Students should plan a 10-15 minute presentation for an audience of professors, professionals, and peers. Presentations must be based on original research conducted by the presenter and should make a normative argument about an issue in international affairs or relating to global governance. For example, topics may involve human rights, media and technology, international law, transitional justice, peacebuilding, democracy, sustainability, or transparency. Past conference winners can be found on our Student Ambassador page.

The top presentation, as decided by a panel of experts, will receive the opportunity to be published on the Ethics & International Affairs blog. The judging panel will be chaired by Adam Read-Brown, editor of the Ethics & International Affairs peer-reviewed journal.
